Young Leeds United midfielder Charlie Crew played a key role in helping Wales under-21s to lift off in a Euros qualifying success.
Crew, 19, on loan to Doncaster Rovers, already had two caps for the Wales senior side to his name and the Whites youngster was handed another start for the country’s under-21s in Saturday’s Euros qualifier against Belarus.
Wales approached the fixture sat bottom of the group with just three points from their opening four games but Crew played the full duration of the match to help his side to a 2-0 success.

Under former Leeds player Matt Jones who manages the team, the victory lifted Wales off the bottom of the group to now sit just one point behind second-placed Denmark who have a game in hand.
Crew has now featured heavily in all four of the team’s last four games.
The young Dragons are back in action on Tuesday night when they face a huge game against Denmark.
