Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin made his England return in Friday night’s friendly against Uruguay at Wembley.

Leeds United star Dominic Calvert-Lewin has issued a beaming verdict and proud declaration about his England return with a 12-word message.

Calvert-Lewin joined Leeds as a free transfer signing last summer after ending nine years with Everton and arrived with 11 caps for England to his name but none since July 2021.

The striker, though, has seen his brilliant form for Leeds rewarded with a Three Lions recall and Calvert-Lewin made his England return as a second-half substitute in Friday night’s 1-1 draw against Uruguay at Wembley.

Taking to his Instagram page, Calvert-Lewin shared two photos of himself in action with the words: “An honour to be back wearing the England shirt, loved every minute.”
