London, March 28 (SANA) Scotland captain Andy Robertson has confirmed he will settle his club future before this summer’s World Cup, amid ongoing speculation linking him with a return to Celtic.
Scotland are set to face Japan on Saturday and the Ivory Coast in a pair of friendly matches before domestic football concludes and attention turns to the 2026 World Cup.
Robertson, approaching the final months of his Liverpool career, remains one of Celtic’s most notable academy alumni, having been released as a youngster before rising to prominence at Anfield.
Facing a potential free transfer, Robertson said he is keen to resolve his next move quickly. Speaking ahead of Scotland’s match against Japan, he told reporters: “We know the end of the season is coming, and we will need to make a decision soon. That decision will come, and everyone will find out where, when or what I am doing. That will be the plan.”
