Crystal Palace now keeping close tabs on "highly rated" manager who's lost just three PL games

Still on the hunt for their Oliver Glasner replacement, Crystal Palace are now keeping tabs on a "highly rated" manager who's lost just three Premier League games.

Crystal Palace's Glasner replacement: The candidates

Whilst tempers have flared in recent months, there's still no denying that Glasner will be an incredibly tough act to follow at Selhurst Park.

It's not even absurd to suggest that he'll go down as one of, if not the greatest manager to ever step into the technical area in South London after winning the FA Cup and reaching European football. He simply achieved what was previously deemed the unachievable.

Nonetheless, it's an act that someone has to follow this summer and Crystal Palace's managerial search has already seen a number of names mentioned.

One of which is Jose Bordalas. The Getafe boss has built quite the reputation in Spain for his pragmatic football, which focuses on grinding out results rather than entertainment.

His appointment in South London would undoubtedly split opinion, but there's no denying that he gets results. With only a handful of games left to play, Getafe sit as high as eighth in La Liga.

However, the Getafe boss isn't the only name in the mix for the Palace job. Alongside him, the Eagles have also set their sights on Sean Dyche, who was sacked by Nottingham Forest earlier this season.

The veteran manager, like Bordalas, isn't known for entertaining football and instead focuses on the results. Both options are unlikely to please the majority of Selhurst Park, who may be hoping for an alternative candidate to emerge.

Crystal Palace keeping tabs on Liam Rosenior

As reported by Football Insider, Crystal Palace are also keeping tabs on Liam Rosenior as the pressure continues to heat up on the Chelsea boss.

The Eagles are long-term admirers of the 41-year-old and Chelsea's usual ruthless streak could allow them to swoop in by the time that the summer arrives.

Having crashed out of the Champions League in an 8-2 thrashing at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, before losing 3-0 against Everton, there have been serious questions about Rosenior's tenure in West London.

Despite recent pressure, Rosenior has still lost just three of his 10 Premier League games in charge and that's something Palace cannot ignore if he becomes available.

Dubbed "highly rated" by former Premier League scout Mick Brown, the former Strasbourg boss is a manager who needs the time that Chelsea may not hand him.

Crystal Palace plotting to replace Glasner with their next Roy Hodgson

Crystal Palace are set to appoint a new manager at the end of the 2025/26 season.

At a club like Palace, who will be entering a transitional period, someone that will benefit them in the long-term would certainly be ideal - as would Rosenior's preference for entertaining football.
