Three brothers from the Wolverhampton area who have shared every birthday together since birth are preparing to mark another remarkable milestone as they turn 65.
Andrew, Paul and Martin – triplets who grew up in Tettenhall – celebrated their joint birthday with family and friends at Blymhill Village Hall on Saturday, March 28, a day ahead of their actual birthdays on March 29.

“It’s 195 years split between the three of us, and I think we look alright for 195,” eldest-brother Andrew joked.
The trio are no strangers to local attention, having previously been featured when they celebrated their 60th birthdays together. Their story struck a chord across the region, highlighting not only the rarity of triplets reaching such milestones, but also the close bond they have maintained throughout their lives.
In a memorable shared milestone, the brothers all passed their driving tests on the same day in 1978. Andrew recalls being last to sit his test, saying it was up to him to ‘complete the hat-trick.’

The parallels did not stop there. In adulthood, a series of striking coincidences saw all three working at the same places over the years, including TI Welding in Wednesfield, Sun Valley Foods in Wolverhampton and later with London Midland Trains, further underlining the similarities that have defined their lives.
That bond remains as strong as ever, despite the brothers now living in different parts of the Midlands. Andrew is based in Penkridge, Paul lives in Claregate, Wolverhampton, and Martin resides in Shropshire.
Their birthday celebration also came with a special surprise close to the brothers’ hearts as lifelong Wolves supporters.
Ahead of their birthdays during the 2-1 win over Liverpool at Molineux, each of the triplets were presented with a signed Wolves shirt by club legend Steve Bull – a gesture that made the occasion even more memorable.
