The FA have revealed that Aaron Ramsdale has returned to Newcastle United, whilst Arsenal players Noni, Madueke, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka have also left the England camp.
The Gunners trio have returned to Arsenal due to injury issues, whilst Aaron Ramsdale has gone back to Tyneside as part of a pre-planned thinning of the squad ahead of the Japan match on Tuesday.
Thomas Tuchel had originally named 35 players for this England get together, with 26 of them initially arriving to prepare for the Uruguay match last Friday, with nine others arriving that day (Friday) to be part of the preparations for only the Japan match. The England boss wanting to have a look at as many players as possible in this final get together before the end of the season.
Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Dean Henderson, Nico O’Reilly, Ezri Konsa, Marc Guéhi, Dan Burn, Elliot Anderson, Morgan Rogers, Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane were the nine who arrived on Friday.
Whilst in total, eight have now left. Aaron Ramsdale, Fikayo Tomori and Dominic Calvert-Lewin appear to have been pre-planned departures, whilst John Stones, Adam Wharton, Noni Madueke, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka leaving due to injury issues.
This means 27 players preparing for the Japan match now, including five from Newcastle United – Burn, Gordon, Livramento, Hall and Barnes.
