“We can confirm..” – Bombshell dropped as Leeds United’s rivals to switch managers again

Leeds United are looking to stay well clear of the relegation zone in the final seven games, while Spurs are now looking for another manager after parting ways with Igor Tudor.

United’s return to action this week comes in the FA Cup with a quarter-final trip to West Ham awaiting. For both sides, a trip to Wembley is obviously a big enough carrot to take the game seriously, but survival remains the priority.

Elsewhere, turmoil at Spurs has led to another drastic change in the dugout, confirmed on Sunday.

Spurs confirm Igor Tudor departs from manager role as Leeds United watch on at turmoil

While Daniel Farke’s consistent sense of calm in the relegation battle is a welcome stance, Spurs have been in freefall for months.

Igor Tudor was brought in to replace Thomas Frank with the goal of steadying the ship short-term and keeping Spurs in the division.

After five Premier League matches, Tudor’s men have picked up just one point in a draw to Liverpool, losing their other four with an aggregate scoreline in his league fixtures of 13-4. Their latest 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest at home has proven to be the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Now, Spurs have confirmed the mutual decision to part ways with Tudor, leaving the North London club on the hunt for their third manager of the season.

Goalkeeping coach and physical coach Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also left the club along with Tudor. Spurs also acknowledge the recent family bereavement for Tudor.

Can Leeds United steer clear of Spurs chaos as third manager of the season looms?

There’s a distinct possibility that Spurs could stumble into a manager that makes them better in a flash. They have the quality to be nowhere near the relegation zone.

However, you could see in the players during their defeat to Nottingham Forest that some of them are simply giving up.

That level of chaos and lack of belief is seriously worrying for Spurs. For Leeds, though, it’s ideal if that stays the same for the remainder of the campaign.

The question is: who actually comes into this Spurs setup now that’s worth their salt?
