Everton are enjoying a great season, with a number of players having really enjoyed fantastic campaigns up to this point.
David Moyes has the team challenging for European football at the moment, which is not something most people saw coming ahead of the 2025/26 season.
But Moyes has extracted so much out of this Everton squad, and you would not put it past the squad to have Everton securing European football.
There have been many excellent contributions so far, but who are top contenders at the moment?
Everton News takes a look…
Jordan Pickford
It has been yet another outstanding campaign from Jordan Pickford between the sticks for Everton.
The England number one has kept 11 clean sheets so far this season, and seemingly has unlimited entries for Save of the Season.
Should Jordan Pickford now be considered one of the world’s best goalkeepers? 🤔
Gary Lineker is adamant he should 👀

Pickford has made so many outstanding saves this term, with his stop from Sandro Tonali against Newcastle United the most memorable.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
That save won him Save of the Month for February, and it will very likely win him Save of the Season unless one of his rivals pulls something truly special out of the bag in the coming weeks.
He is certainly building an amazing highlights reel for the 2025/26 campaign.
It was recently revealed that Pickford has the highest goals prevented metric in the Premier League so far this term, furthering his case as the division’s best stopper at the moment.
Pickford has won Everton Player of the Season four times previously – he could well win it for a fifth come May.
James Garner
What a season it’s been for James Garner, who by his own admission says this term has been his true breakthrough.
The midfielder has just been called into the England squad for the first time, and made his debut against Uruguay on Friday.
To no one of an Everton persuasion’s surprise, Garner stood out, and seemingly now has a genuine chance to go to the World Cup. Thomas Tuchel even compared Garner to Fede Valverde, one of the best midfielders in the world.

All season long Garner has been standing out for Everton with his wonderful playmaking, but also his tenacity and work rate.
And it cannot be forgotten how his versatility has come in so handy.
Garner has played in both full-back positions at times this season and has not looked out of place at all.
He’s becoming a complete midfielder, and there can be no complaints whatsoever if he was named Everton Player of the Season for his amazing consistency.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Eyebrows were certainly raised when Everton paid £28 million for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall last summer., given he’s really struggled for minutes at Chelsea.
But that fee now looks an absolutely snip.
Dewsbury-Hall has been a breath of fresh air for Everton this season, and has already marked himself out as one of the most influential players in the team.
He is the goalscoring midfielder many teams envy, having struck six times for the Toffees so far – this tally would almost certainly be higher had he not suffered that hamstring injury in December.
Dewsbury-Hall deserves to be in the England squad with Garner, do you agree? 🤔
FIVE goalkeepers have been included for some reason! 😡

But Dewsbury-Hall has also chipped in with five assists, showing that he’s a man who just makes things happen in and around the final third.
But to only talk about what he brings on the ball is to do him a disservice, because Dewsbury-Hall has also made the most pressures for Everton in the league this season.
So he also does the dirty work brilliantly, likely making him a dream for Moyes.
Without doubt, he should be in the conversation for Everton Player of the Season.
Honourable mentions who could be in with a shout if they finish the season well :
Iliman Ndiaye
Michael Keane
Idrissa Gana Gueye
