Fabrizio Romano issues update on Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson

Nottingham Forest seem to be in a losing battle to keep Elliot Anderson.

With Nottingham Forest battling for Premier League survival, many of their best players will be approached by some of Europe’s elite ahead of the summer transfer window.

Elliot Anderson is attracting serious interest, with German giants Bayern Munich recently linked with a move to sign the England international.

He’s playing so well at the moment…😍

It’s claimed that Forest are already eyeing replacements for Anderson, so clearly they are resigned to losing him.

That said, Fabrizio Romano has just provided a fresh update on his situation at the City Ground.

“Manchester United have Sandro Tonali very high on their shortlist for June, as reported.

“The player would be open to the move. Elliot Anderson, another name on shortlist but Manchester City are still ahead — with very serious interest.

“Man City and Arsenal, both also informed on Tonali situation.”

Let us know in the comments below!

According to the BBC, Forest value Anderson at around £80m, although their negotiating power will significantly weaken if they suffer relegation.

There have been suggestions of a price tag closer to the £100m mark, and perhaps that could be achievable if the England star enjoys a productive World Cup.

Either way, all roads point towards an Anderson exit this summer, so Forest chiefs must have an adequate replacement lined up.
