Fulham win Division One South East title

Fulham claimed the Division One South East title with a 3-0 win over MK Dons, as rivals Norwich City lost 2-1 to Chatham Town.

The Lilywhites are the first division winners of the FA Women’s National League season, while Swindon Town’s hopes of claiming the Division One South West were dealt a blow by Bridgwater United.

The top teams in the other four divisions all won, while there were important results at the bottom of the tables too.

Fulham go back-to-back

In their first season in Tier 4, Fulham have won the Division One South East title and are yet to lose a game after a 3-0 victory over MK Dons.

All three goals came in the first half at Craven Cottage as Becky Stormer opened the scoring, heading home, before Ellie Olds got the second.

Olds then set up Stella Gandee Morgan in the box to complete the win, with Norwich’s 2-1 loss to Chatham confirming Fulham's second title in as many seasons.

Also in Division One South East, AFC Sudbury’s relegation was confirmed with a 1-0 loss to Dulwich Hamlet, they join Chesham United in going down, with the already-relegated Stags Chesham losing by the same scoreline to Actonians.

London Bees responded to their mid-week loss to triumph 3-1 away at Cambridge United while Luton Town and Queens Park Rangers played out a 0-0 draw.

Swindon halted

Swindon Town failed to score for only the second league game of the season as they were beaten 1-0 by Bridgwater United.

It means the Robins are now just two points ahead of Moneyfields, who have a game in hand, at the top of Division One South West.

Bridgwater are up to third after their win, while Portishead Town kept their hopes of survival alive with a 2-1 win over Bournemouth Sports, who are now four points ahead of them with two games to play.

Keynsham Town moved away from the drop zone with a 3-0 win away at Ascot United, with Marine Academy Plymouth also picking up an important point with a 1-1 draw with Maidenhead United.

Worthing’s relegation was confirmed after a 4-0 loss to Abingdon United, who moved into the top half of the table.

Posh still out front

Peterborough United had their own chance of winning Division One Midlands but the top three all triumphed to keep the title race going.

The Posh got past fourth-placed Barnsley thanks to a Kira Rai goal, while third-place Leafield Athletic defeated Notts County 4-2, including a Leonie Joyce hat-trick.

Boldmere St Michaels beat Kidderminster Harriers 5-1, while Worcester City got an important 2-1 win over nearest rivals Sheffield FC.

Stourbridge’s 0-0 draw against Northampton Town, coupled with Sutton Coldfield Town being held to a 2-2 draw by already-relegated Lincoln United, means that the Glassgirls remain in touching distance of safety.

Watford in charge

A five-star performance against Exeter City moved Watford four points clear at the top of the Southern Premier Division after a 5-0 win at Vicarage Road.

Watford benefitted from second-place Plymouth Argyle and third-placed AFC Bournemouth, who are 10 points back with two games in hand, being in FA WNL Cup Final action.

The Golden Girls are now one win away from the title, while Gwalia United got a huge triumph in the battle to avoid relegation.

They beat Real Bedford 1-0, while Hashtag United’s 2-0 loss to Oxford United moved them down to 10th.

Wolves win at Molineux

Amber Hughes scored the winner for Wolverhampton Wanderers in their 1-0 Black Country derby triumph over West Bromwich Albion.

With Burnley also winning 2-0 against Halifax, the tussle for the Northern Premier Division goes on.

Loughborough Lightning got an important 1-0 triumph over Stoke City to move level on points with Halifax, who sit out of the relegation zone.

Derby County moved three points clear of the drop with a 3-0 win over Hull City, while Middlesbrough and Liverpool Feds drew 1-1 at the Riverside and Rugby Borough had to come from behind to defeat Sporting Khalsa.

Rovers undo Belles

Blackburn Rovers got a huge 2-1 win over relegation rivals Doncaster Rovers Belles in Division One North.

Karri Chan netted late on to move four points behind the Belles, who have a game in hand.

Durham Cestria’s title hopes were dealt a blow with a 2-2 draw against Norton and Stockton Ancients, while the top two both won with Huddersfield Town defeating Chorley 3-0 and Leeds United beating York City 5-1.

Wythenshawe returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Chester le Street Town.
