Dale Taylor made his return from injury in Blackpool’s 1-0 victory over Burton Albion.
Blackpool were handed an injury boost against Burton Albion - with Dale Taylor making his first appearance in over three months.
The striker was introduced in the second half, as the Seasiders claimed a 1-0 victory over the Brewers, which came courtesy of a 90th minute winner from CJ Hamilton.
Taylor has endured a frustrating time on the Fylde Coast since making the move to the North West for a substantial fee from Nottingham Forest in the summer.
Prior to joining Blackpool, the 22-year-old had acclimatised to League One through loan spells with the likes of Wycombe Wanderers and Wigan Athletic, but has been unable to build on that experience in Tangerine.
After a slow start to the season, the forward was hit with an extended spell on the sidelines due to a hamstring issue.
Upon making his return to action, he produced his best performance for the Seasiders against his former club Wigan, registering a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win at the Brick Community Stadium.
Unfortunately for Taylor, he suffered a broken metatarsal in the following game, which kept him out up until Saturday afternoon.

Blackpool boss Ian Evatt was delighted to welcome the summer signing back, and believes he can play a big role for the Seasiders in the long-term.
“It was huge, he’s a top player,” he said.
“We haven’t had him all season, and he’s still nowhere near his best, but I’ve seen enough of Dale to know he’s exciting for me and exciting for the fans.”
This echoed Evatt’s comments ahead of the Burton game, as he also called for patience as Taylor gets back up to full speed.
“I’ve been excited by what I’ve seen in training this week, but we also can’t pile too much pressure on him because he’s been out a long time,” he stated on Thursday.
“He’s had a wretched season, and he needs our patience, and our time and support - he’s going to get that from me.”
