Jarrad Branthwaite has shared his thoughts on David Moyes as the 62-year-old is expected to be offered a new Everton contract.

Branthwaite has already suggested he wants to stay at Everton for the long-term following strong speculation over his own future in recent years.
The 23-year-old has only played 27 times under Moyes, but he has witnessed a lot of progression throughout this season.

“I think that Everton identity is something the manager – David Moyes – has really brought back to the Club,” Branthwaite told the Everton website.
“He’s been brilliant with me and not only me, the rest of the dressing room as well. He knows what this club means to people, he knows what it takes to be successful and he gives us confidence to go out there and play.”
Moyes has pushed Everton towards European contention, which certainly seemed ambitious at the start of the season.
However, the 62-year-old has put the Toffees in a strong position with just seven games remaining in the campaign.
Everton are set to offer Moyes a new contract to secure his stay beyond the 2026/27 term.
Such high praise from a player of Branthwaite’s calibre only highlights how highly respected Moyes is on Merseyside.
The progression on the pitch is there for all to see, but the 23-year-old defender has revealed just how highly the players think of their manager behind the scenes.
