Lewis Dobbin’s current loan spell is certainly going better than his one last season at West Brom.
The 23-year-old winger arrived at Albion on loan from Aston Villa in the summer of 2024.
But it didn’t go how he or Villa would have hoped - having signed at Villa Park from Everton in a £10m deal the same summer.
He made 18 appearances, with just two of them coming as a starter before he was recalled by his parent club.
He then went off to Norwich but after a bright start an injury curtailed his season.

Then he was off on loan to Preston last summer - and it has been a fruitful spell for the winger.
He has scored eight goals in 34 appearances across all competitions - and at one stage Preston looked like they may push for the play-offs.
But nearly two years since joining Villa, he has yet to feature in a single competitive game for the club who forked out £10m for him.
In an interview during the international break, Dobbin has admitted that he does not know where his future lies, despite having two more years to run on his Villa contract.
But he is still determined to get his break at Villa Park - despite his trio of loan moves.
He said: “I just take it game by game and see what happens.

“We'll just see what happens in the future but definitely my aim is to play for Villa one day. “
