Jack Harrison is reportedly likely to return to Leeds United upon the conclusion of his loan spell at Fiorentina.
The 29-year-old was controversially reintegrated into the Leeds fold last summer after two seasons out on loan at Everton.
He endured a frosty reception from the Elland Road faithful, who had been aggrieved by his unwillingness to represent the Whites in the Championship post-relegation.
Anger eventually died down but Harrison struggled to force his way into Daniel Farke’s starting XI.

Jack Harrison claim emerges
According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, however, Fiorentina do not appear particularly keen on retaining the wideman.
It has been suggested he will not have his stay at Stadio Artemio Franchi extended and instead head back to Elland Road.
Harrison has made a total of 13 appearances for the Italian outfit, registering one assist.
Jack Harrison’s future
It appears a permanent parting of ways between Leeds and Harrison in the summer could be beneficial for all parties concerned.
However, with two years remaining on the winger’s contract, Leeds will have to find a buyer unless they want to sanction another loan or agree to terminate his deal.

He was once a key figure for the Whites and developed considerably under the tutelage of Marcelo Bielsa.
However, he has rarely enjoyed consistency in Leeds colours and appears to be in need of a fresh start elsewhere.
“He needs support from everywhere. I respect the decision of the fans but it doesn't help. Maybe now, it may have made the club and coach wonder whether it was the right decision. In that ugly situation, nobody wins really.
“If he's back, it's because the coach needs him. You don't bring a player back for no reason. He will have been thinking 'we didn't get this player, we didn't get this player, now, let's get him back, we need him'.”
