Seamus Coleman was in the starting line-up at the Aviva Stadium tonight as the Republic of Ireland drew 0-0 with North Macedonia.
It was a tough fixture for both teams as their World Cup dreams ended on Thursday night.
Ireland were hopeful of a good display in the international friendly and 37-year-old Coleman played at right wing-back in what was his 79th cap.
Former Letterkenny Rovers underage player James Abankwah came on for Coleman in the 61st minute. It was Abankwah’s senior debut but he did pick up an injury.
Ireland finished strongly but couldn’t find the winner.
