Noah Okafor was left out of last night’s clash between Switzerland and Norway after picking up a knock.

That’s according to Blick who report the Leeds United man was ‘sidelined with an injury’ as the Swiss were in Oslo on Tuesday evening.

That seemed to confirm reports earlier in the day the winger had developed problem in the warm-up to the friendly loss to Germany last week.

Okafor will return to Thorp Arch in the coming days where Daniel Farke will no doubt issue an update in his pre-West Ham press conference.

Farke would hope to have Okafor as an option in Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final, particularly with the 25-year-old only recently having returned from a hamstring injury.

Okafor, who joined from AC Milan last summer, managed 21 minutes in the 0-0 draw with Brentford, having sat out the previous four matches.

So far this term he has made 15 Premier League starts and 28 appearances, including four goals, in all competitions.

In the case that Okafor can’t feature against West Ham, Farke will at least know Daniel James has returned to fitness as an option if the German opts to play with wingers at the London Stadium.
