Per Philipp Hinze of Sky Sports Germany, RB Leipzig are preparing a new contract for attacker Yan Diomande, with a performance-based salary increase in a bid to keep the player. The 19 year-old Ivorian has been linked with moves to Premier League teams, most notably Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
It’s not a surprise Leipzig would at least _attempt_ to keep their guy, although it’s hard to see Diomande signing a new deal without a release clause, knowing he has a large number of suitors after him this summer window. The player also recently switched agencies, which is a move commonly made in anticipation of a transfer… so all signs are pointing to him leaving.
