How Everton's Tyler Dibling fared for England Under-21s vs Moldova

Tyler Dibling hasn’t played much football for Everton recently.

The £40m summer signing has barely had a chance under David Moyes this season, starting just four Premier League games.

Tyler Dibling has played one minute of football since January, so clearly the Scotsman isn’t seeing enough from him in training.

Which former Everton target do you wish the club had signed? 🫣

Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay.

Despite that, England Under-21s still called him up to Lee Carsley’s squad for the Euro qualifiers against Andorra and Moldova.

Dibling was a late sub against Andorra, but he started the clash against Moldova yesterday.

Dibling started off the right flank last night and his Sofascore statistics reflect that he had a really positive game.

The 20-year-old made three key passes, so he was quite unlucky not to come away with a couple of assists.

MORE EVERTON STORIES

The Everton star made a quite remarkable 22 carries, evincing his terrific dribbling ability, which was seen on a regular basis at Southampton.

Moyes and his coaching staff will have no doubt been keeping tabs on Dibling’s game, so it’ll be fascinating to see if he gets more opportunities in the business end of the season.

The Toffees are back in action on the 11th of April against European rivals Brentford before the first-ever Merseyside Derby at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Hopefully, Dibling returns to Finch Farm with an increased level of confidence and belief in his abilities.
