A number of West Ham United Women players have received international call-ups ahead of the April fixtures in the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
Leila Wandeler has been selected for Switzerland, who currently sit top of their group after back-to-back wins, and will face Türkiye in a double-header.
Republic of Ireland pair Jessie Stapleton and Jess Ziu have also been included, with their side looking to bounce back from two early defeats as they prepare to take on Poland twice. That will see them come up against fellow Hammer Kinga Szemik, who has also been named in the Poland squad.
Elsewhere, Tuva Hansen links up with Norway once again as they get set to play Slovenia in two important fixtures, while Shekiera Martinez has earned another senior call-up for Germany, who have made a strong start to their campaign and will face Austria twice.
With qualification and play-off places at stake across the groups, it promises to be a busy and competitive international break, with several West Ham teammates set to go head-to-head on the international stage.
