After defeating FC Midtjylland on penalties in the Round of 16, Vitor Pereira’s side take on the Portuguese giants in the quarter-finals.

Nuno initially didn’t give much away in his answer, but then noted that it’ll be a really ā€˜competitive game’.

Nuno says Nottingham Forest are ā€˜full of talent’ as he previews Porto clash

Whilst Nuno didn’t offer a score prediction, he did explain that Forest will be up against a very good Porto side.

ā€œI confess I am not looking much at that competition, the Europa League,ā€ the 52-year-old explained.

ā€œBut it will be a very competitive game.

ā€œPorto are one of the best teams in Portuguese football, and Nottingham is full of talent. It will be a complicated and competitive match, for sure.ā€

A supercomputer has given Porto a 58.65% chance of advancing through to the semi-finals, with Forest given a 41.35% likelihood.

So, the Tricky Trees are the underdogs, which makes sense given Porto are currently on course to win the league title in Portugal.

Forest will have to watch out for Williams Gomes, who is a tricky Brazilian right winger with a great goalscoring record.

The 20-year-old scored in the last round against Stuttgart, so Neco Williams will have a tough battle on his hands.
