This follows Sweden's tense 3-2 victory against Poland in a World Cup qualifier final match.
Goals from Anthony Elanga, Gustaf Lagerbielke and Victor Gyokeres sealed the deal for Sweden manager Graham Potter.
Yasin played 92 minutes of the fixture, coming off during stoppage time. Playing in midfield, he dictated play effectively at the Strawberry Arena.
The 22-year-old also enjoyed the majority of Sweden's 1-3 victory over Ukraine in the semi-final (Thursday, March 26).
After Sweden's WCQ final win, Potter told reporters: "It's the best night of my life, and I've had some wonderful nights, stories with Ostersund and European adventures and Champions League, Premier League wins, but this just feels like more...
"When you're a national team, you're working for more than yourself...
"When you add all that up and then put the context of the game and the environment and the atmosphere, it was just a special moment."
Albion fans know Graham very well.
He managed The Seagulls for just over three seasons, spanning from May 2019 to September 2022.
He left the south coast for Chelsea, but was dismissed in April 2023 after poor performances.
After Chelsea, he was appointed by West Ham in January, 2025. He was sacked that same year, in September.
Overall, Potter won six out of 25 matches managing the East London club.
The former Albion Head Coach then joined Sweden in October.
He had agreed on a short-term contract, aiming for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and potential playoffs.
Graham had replaced Jon Dahl Tomasson after a poor start to the campaign. Jon had picked up just one point from Sweden's first four Group B matches.
In March, Potter signed a four-year contract extension.
So far this season, Yasin Ayari has made 24 appearances for Brighton, scoring three and assisting two goals.
In February, he had suffered a dislocated shoulder. The injury left him sidelined for a few weeks before returning to training.
He's looking sharp as his Premier League season comes to a close, with an exciting World Cup summer up ahead.
