Hats off The Friedkin Group as FA officially release Everton's latest agent payments

The FA have today released the figures of agent payments made by Premier League clubs, and Everton’s data reflects well on The Friedkin Group.

There is more money in football than ever, and it cannot be denied that agents are now very prominent figures in today’s game.

How would you rate The Friedkin Group’s first year at Everton? 👏

Every player has one, and their job is to work in the best interests of their client.

That often comes at a big price, which clubs are seemingly very ready to pay.

But in terms of payments to agents, some clubs in the Premier League have certainly dug much deeper into their pockets.

But not Everton.

Everton second-lowest for payments to agents as new data shared

Refreshingly, Everton have not forked out too much money to agents in the last year.

The FA has today released the figures for all Premier League clubs for payments made to agents between February 2025 and February 2026.

And Everton are actually the second-lowest for agent fees, spending £9,990,374. This is up from £9,156,995, just a £833,379 increase.

Only Burnley have paid out less to agents than Everton, with £7,357,902.

The data is a positive reflection on The Friedkin Group, who are looking to keep Everton on a secure financial footing.

Yes, the figure may be slightly up from the previous year.

But 11 other clubs also had an increase. And all of those 11 clubs had bigger increases than Everton.

But to have spent just under £10 million on agent fees is not bad going, and it’s also decent considering Everton’s transfer business of late.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was an excellent signing, and Jack Grealish was also a good addition before his untimely injury. Thierno Barry has been a bit hit and miss but has scored six goals.

It hasn’t quite happened for Tyler Dibling yet, but hopefully he’ll come good in his second season.

But TFG deserve some credit for keeping the agent payments relatively low, and the owners should strive to keep it that way in future negotiations.
