The 27-year-old is playing in the top flight for the first time in his career with the Clarets this season, having previously only featured in the Championship and Dutch football.
But what makes it all the more impressive is that Flemming’s eight-goal haul has come from just 14 starts, due to a couple of spells on the sidelines through injury.
But when he has been present, he’s been in clinical form in front of goal – much to Parker’s delight.

“Brilliant for Flem. He’s done fantastic this year,” he said.

“Obviously it’s his first season in the Premier League but he’s picked it up quite quickly in terms of learning and understanding what he’s up against and what he needs to do.
“The goal [against Fulham] was really well worked in terms of everything we had prepped in the build up to the game, but we’ve executed that in terms of attracting one side and attacking the other side with width.
“I was pleased for Flem.”
