Mallorca vs. Real Madrid: Head-to-head record and past meetings

Real Madrid will be aiming to make it six straight wins in all competitions when they continue their La Liga campaign away to Mallorca on Saturday afternoon.

Los Blancos are currently second in the La Liga table, four points behind the leaders Barcelona, who will face Atletico Madrid on Saturday night.

Real Madrid entered the March international break off the back of a 3-2 victory over Atletico in Spain's top flight, with Vinicius Junior scoring the winner in the Madrid derby.

Mallorca, meanwhile, are currently battling to retain their status in Spain's top flight.

The visitors lost to Elche last time out to drop into the relegation zone, currently sitting 18th, one point behind 17th-placed Elche.

There is no downplaying the importance of this match to either team at such a key stage of the season.

Here, Sports Mole looks at the head-to-head record and previous meetings between the two sides ahead of their clash this weekend.

Head-to-head record

Previous meetings: 76

Mallorca wins: 16

Draws: 13

Real Madrid wins: 47

Real Madrid lead the overall head-to-head against Mallorca, having recorded 47 wins from their 76 meetings in all competitions, while they have suffered just 16 defeats to the Pirates throughout history, with the other 13 games finishing all square.

Los Blancos did the league double over Mallorca during the 2023-24 campaign, winning 1-0 home and away, and they have been victorious in nine of their last 11 fixtures with Los Bermellones, including a 3-0 success in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup in January 2025.

Mallorca did record a 1-0 victory when the two teams met at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix in February 2023, though, which proved to be their first success over the capital giants since the latter stages of 2019.

The last two Mallorca wins against Real Madrid have come in Palma, but they have only beaten Los Blancos on three occasions in the league since February 2006.

One of their best performances against Los Blancos came on the opening weekend of the 2024-25 La Liga campaign, though, and they had opportunities to secure all three points in the latter stages of that 1-1 draw.

Rodrygo sent Real Madrid ahead in the early stages of the contest with a curling effort, but Vedat Muriqi's bullet header early in the second period proved to be enough for the points to be shared, and Los Blancos actually finished the match with 10 men, as Ferland Mendy was sent off in the final exchanges for a poor challenge on Muriqi.

Real Madrid then recorded an incredible last-gasp 2-1 win over Mallorca at Bernabeu in May 2025 to deny Barcelona the La Liga title on that particular night, although the Catalan outfit would later secure the championship.

In La Liga, the two sides have locked horns on 67 occasions, with Real Madrid winning 44 times to Mallorca's 11, while there have now been 12 draws.

Gonzalo Higuain and Raul are actually the joint-leading goalscorers in this fixture, having both netted nine times against Mallorca during their time with Real Madrid, while Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo and Karim Benzema all managed seven.

Real Madrid have scored 142 goals in their 67 La Liga games with Mallorca, while the Pirates have struck 59 times in this fixture, with their best league success over Los Blancos proving to be a stunning 5-1 victory at Bernabeu back in 2003.
