Fawnl Northern Premier Preview | Return to Alexander Stadium to face Liverpool Feds

She said: “We’re really gutted about the Wolves game last week. I felt we were the better team and played the better football at times.

“Ultimately, we didn’t finish our chances earlier in the game. We could’ve gone two-nil up in the early parts, and I think it’s come back to bite us later on.

“It’s down to decision-making sometimes. There are times when we’ve made the right decision, and the shots haven’t come off, and others when we haven’t made the right call. We’d be more concerned if we weren’t getting those shots off.

“We’ve come so far as a team, we’re closing the gap on teams like Wolves, and we’ve shown we’re up for the fight now.

“This season especially, we’ve really kicked on. It shows in the league where we are now and where we could finish.

“We’ve really gelled as a group, that gap is getting smaller and smaller, we just want to keep pushing on now. It gives us massive confidence moving forward, even going into these last three games and next season - we know we can match those better sides now.

“We’re moving in the right direction, we’re getting closer to where we want to be in future. There’s a possibility to finish fourth this season, which would be an incredible achievement for us.
