Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign a Paris Saint-Germain forward.
Tottenham Hotspur have made their final move to stay in the Premier League by bringing in Roberto De Zerbi as their permanent head coach earlier this week.
Spurs have been winless in the Premier League since the start of 2026, and going by their woeful form, they are genuinely under threat of relegation. Roberto De Zerbi knows the immediate task he has on his shoulders, and there will be pressure on him to hit the ground running at White Hart Lane. With only seven games, there is no margin of error whatsoever.
Avoiding the drop is currently the entire club’s main objective but they are simultaneously already making some plans for the future. The Lilywhites have had poor luck with strikers following Harry Kane’s departure in 2024. They had previously invested heavily in Dominic Solanke, and he has blown hot and cold. Randal Kolo Muani arrived on a season-long loan from PSG in 2025, but he has proven to be a poor acquisition. Richarlison may be the club’s top scorer with 10 goals this season, but he cannot be relied upon for a regular supply of goals.
Tottenham could enter transfer race for PSG striker
With Kolo Muani set to return to PSG upon the expiry of his loan spell, and Richarlison’s future up in the air, Tottenham have to bring in a new striker in the summer without fail.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, PSG have offered Goncalo Ramos to Tottenham and several other clubs ahead of the summer transfer window. Chelsea have expressed their interest in the striker by initiating contact with the French champions.
Goncalo Ramos is approaching the end of his third season at PSG following his €80million move from SL Benfica, but his time in Paris hasn’t been smooth sailing. Despite hitting double figures in his first two seasons in Ligue 1, the Portuguese international has found opportunities hard to come by. Luis Enrique doesn’t really fancy him as a starting No.9, preferring Ousmane Dembele in that role, while Ramos isn’t versatile enough to challenge the likes of Desire Doue, Bradley Barcola and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Hence, Ramos is considering his future at PSG as he wants to explore a move away in search of regular football. Apart from Premier League clubs, AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid are all among the sides to have expressed an interest in the 24-year-old.
Ramos signing unlikely to happen
Throughout the season, Tottenham have had problems putting the ball in the back of the net. They have lacked a ruthless presence up top, owing to injury problems and poor form of the current crop of strikers in the squad.
Ramos has been offered to Spurs, and the Portuguese is an efficient striker capable of solving their goalscoring conundrum. The 24-year-old can score all kinds of goals, link-up play, hold the ball up and bring others into play. As a traditional No.9, he has the ingredients in his game to flourish in De Zerbi’s system and compete with Solanke.
However, without European football, it’d be extremely difficult for the North Londoners to convince the Portuguese to choose our project over other clubs competing in the continental competitions.
