Report: What Everton sources are now saying about Iliman Ndiaye's future amid Man United…

Iliman Ndiaye has had another great season for Everton, but that has inevitably led to speculation about his future.

The Senegal international has played a key role in Everton’s push for European football, contributing six goals and making three assists in 27 appearances.

Will Everton need European football to keep Iliman Ndiaye? 😬

Surely a player of his quality will want to showcase himself on the top stage 🤩

These tallies would likely be higher had Everton not lost him to AFCON midway through the campaign.

But Iliman Ndiaye has once again stood out for Everton, and even more so since Jack Grealish picked up his injury, prompting him to move back to the left side.

Just recently, it’s been suggested that Manchester United are keen to sign Ndiaye.

And now journalist Ben Jacobs has offered an update on the situation via information from Everton sources.

Ndiaye is now said to be high on United’s transfer radar going into the summer.

But Jacobs has offered an update that will encourage Everton fans. And it’s basically that the internal feeling is one of confidence that Ndiaye won’t leave.

He said on The United Stand YouTube channel: “Everton are doing incredible under David Moyes. I think this falls into the Jarrad Branthwaite category where he will be very difficult to prise away from Everton.

“My understanding remains that Everton are looking to reward him with improved terms and they are fighting to keep.

“At this stage Everton sources are adamant that with the season they’re having, they’re confident of keeping him, they’re on course to get some sort of European football, they may even get Champions League football as well.”

Ndiaye only joined Everton from Marseille in the summer of 2024, meaning he hasn’t even been at the club for two years yet.

As a result, Ndiaye is still on the contract he signed when he first arrived.

So Everton would be handing Ndiaye his first extension, should they reach a breakthrough.

And that would certainly be fantastic news, with Ndiaye looking like a player Everton should be building around.

He is that talismanic type player capable of producing magic moments on the pitch, and these types of players are not very common.

Iliman Ndiaye for Everton

Appearances – 64

Goals – 17

Assists – 3

Probably the main priority at the moment will be for Everton to sort out David Moyes’ contract.

But once that’s done, a new deal for Ndiaye will hopefully not be far behind.

Successfully tying Ndiaye down would really send a strong message that the club mean business under The Friedkin Group.
