According to the Daily Mail, hosting one NFL game per season at the Hill Dickinson Stadium has not been ruled out.
Although Spurs are locked in to a significant agreement with the NFL, they are still looking to expand to other European cities.
Everton will host the 2026 Magic Weekend in the coming months as the club have already landed events from other sports at their new ground.
Through diversifying their revenue streams at the stadium, there is a feeling already growing that Everton are becoming the ‘Tottenham of the north’ – in a commercial sense.
Everton want to tap into £15B NFL industry
Forbes reported that the total NFL revenue for 2024 was estimated at around $21B (£15B).
It would be a sporting event that could provide Everton with a multi-million pound revenue stream at their new home.
According to Everton News’ finance expert Adam Williams, Tottenham earn in the region of £2m every time they use their stadium to host a game.
The Friedkin Group are massively boosting Everton’s financial position through the use of the Hill Dickinson Stadium on non-match days.
Since the Friedkins landed on Merseyside, Everton have eyed the American market as a huge opportunity to really grow the club.
By striking a deal with the NFL, the Friedkins could finally unlock the door to a much more significant stream of revenue as they look to steer Everton to a much brighter future.
