Bruno Fernandes has won the Premier League Player of the Month award for March.
Manchester United continued their impressive run under Michael Carrick in March as they sit third in the Premier League table.
Carrick has made some changes to contribute to that, such as moving Bruno Fernandes further forward to make room for Kobbie Mainoo in the team.
Fernandes has been in top form, leading to many believing he deserves the Premier League Player of the Year award. His performances over the last month are a perfect example of why that is the case.

Bruno Fernandes wins Premier League award
Ever since his January 2020 transfer from Sporting CP to United, Fernandes has been among the best players in the Premier League.
The Portugal international, who has overtaken Cristiano Ronaldo in the national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup, has already been rewarded for his performances in March by winning the club’s Player of the Month award.
Fernandes has now gone one step further by winning the Premier League award for Player of the Month in March.

The other contenders for the award included James Garner, Danny Welbeck, Morgan Gibbs-White, Anthony Gordon, Alex Iwobi and David Raya.
Although Fernandes’ award won’t be announced until Friday, the news was broken by Fut Sheriff on X following an update to the FC26 video game, where the United star received an updated card with improved attributes based on recent performances.
It is the sixth time Fernandes has won the Premier League Player of the Month award.
The club captain has enjoyed an outstanding spell of form, featuring two goals, three assists and three Man of the Match awards.
In March, Fernandes surpassed David Beckham’s record for his tally of assists in the 1999/2000 season.

Bruno Fernandes’ Premier League Player of the Month record
Fernandes remains the only player in Premier League history to win the Player of the Month award four times in a single calendar year.
In 2022, Fernandes won the award in February, June, November, and December.
Fernandes didn’t win the award again until September 2025, but his latest Premier League accolade was for March 2026.
Hopefully, Fernandes is given the Premier League Player of the Year award at the end of the season, along with securing Champions League qualification.
