Leeds United are currently 15th in the Premier League, sitting four points above the drop zone as they look to secure their top-flight status.
They’re not safe yet, though, and there’s a genuine sense they could still be pulled into the relegation scrap over the final seven games.

Despite that uncertainty, the club have already started mapping out their summer plans, hopeful they’ll still be preparing for another season in the Premier League.
Leeds will need to get better at selling players in the upcoming window to spend more money on transfers, and it seems one man has made it clear that he wants to move on from Elland Road.
Joe Gelhardt clearly wants to leave Leeds United
Gelhardt joined Hull City on loan last summer and has been their best player this season as the Tigers chase promotion to the Premier League.
He has scored 13 times and registered four assists in 32 appearances for Hull this term, and is leading their charge to return to the top flight.
The forward still has a year left on his contract with Leeds, and the club are hoping to earn a decent fee from his sale in the upcoming window.
Leeds would hope to spark an auction for his services in the summer. However, the striker has made it clear where he wants to be next season.
According to BBC journalist James Hoggarth, Gelhardt has made it clear he would prefer to return to Hull ahead of the 2026/27 season.
He is loving life with the Tigers and is keen to stay at the club beyond the end of his current loan stint.
It’s still unclear whether Hull will be able to agree a fee with Leeds to make Gelhardt’s move permanent in the summer.
Daniel Farke never gave him a chance
Gelhardt looked good in the Premier League initially before he started going out on loan. However, under Daniel Farke, he never really got an opportunity.
The Leeds manager preferred to start the 2024/25 season with Mateo Joseph as his first-choice striker rather than give Gelhardt a chance to shine.
He struggled to get minutes under his belt, and the forward eventually left on loan to play more football for his development.

At Hull, he has had the manager’s trust, and he has shown why he was so highly rated when Leeds signed him from Wigan a few years back.
Gelhardt’s performances at Hull have shown that he deserved more opportunities at Leeds and is now almost certain to move on in the summer.
