It only feels like yesterday that Sunderland were struggling in League One and stealing Netflix headlines by merely uttering Zlatan Ibrahimovic's name. At that stage, the Premier League seemed a world away. Their return was nothing more than a fantasy,
Years on from that Netflix documentary, though, and the Black Cats aren't just dreaming of the Premier League, they are living it and enjoying it every week without the concern of relegation.

From dreaming about the top flight, Regis Le Bris has those in Wearside dreaming about European qualification and a lot of that has been down to Sunderland's decision-making in the transfer window.
Why Sunderland need to be ruthless this summer
Avoiding the drop in the first season since promotion is one thing, but keeping hold of that Premier League status for years to come is the big challenge that Sunderland are facing.

A whole host of Premier League clubs are keen.
They were already ruthless with their spending last summer, even welcoming a new captain in Granite Xhaka, and have reaped the rewards ever since. That must simply be the start, however.
Le Bris already showed that he's ready to show Championship heroes the exit door in January. Both Anthony Patterson and Dan Neil were allowed to leave on loan and the latter has already bid an emotional farewell to those at the Stadium of Light.
Those departures also allowed the likes of Nilson Angulo to arrive in another marquee move - highlighting just how quickly the Black Cats are willing to move on.
One player likely to face the same fate in the summer is Wilson Isidor. Even though he was looking like Sunderland's next Darren Bent at the start of the season, it's the perfect time for Le Bris to cash in.
Sunderland must cash in on the new Darren Bent
When someone mentions Bent's time at Sunderland, it's as if the noise of a bouncing beach ball begins to echo around Wearside.
But he was more than just the scorer of one of the most bizarre goals in Premier League history. Beach ball aside, the striker knew how to find the back of the net more than most.

That's why Sunderland would have been so pleased with how Isidor started the current campaign.
The Frenchman instantly took his goalscoring heroics from the Championship to the Premier League, becoming the first player since Bent to score in his side's first three home games of the season.
Even the arrival of Brian Brobbey seemed unlikely to stand in the way of Isidor, but his impressive start quickly proved to be that and that only.
Since scoring in those home games, the forward has scored just one goal in 21 Premier League appearances and lost his place to the Tyne-Wear derby hero Brobbey. If there's ever a good time for all parties to part ways, it is this summer.
Sunderland's Wilson Isidor
For Isidor, himself, he needs the chance to prove himself in the Premier League. There's a reason he kept company with Bent at the start of the season - he's just not been able to keep up with Brobbey.
Since arriving for around £5m last year, the forward's valuation has shot up by 200%, when considering his current market value of around £15m, as per Transfermarkt.
That should see Sunderland make plenty of profit if they decide to cash in this summer, with Paris FC among those circling, with it likely to prove something of a short stay at the Stadium of Light, just as it was for Bent.
