Gary Neville is said to be earning more than £1million per month through his podcasting empire, on top of his Sky Sports pay packet. The Manchester United legend's Buzz 16 productions – which handles ventures like The Overlap – turned over a revenue of £11.6m last year.

Elsewhere, Buzz paid out a reported £4.6m in wages and pension contributions last year, as per The Sun, while Neville shared a dividend of over £3m with three other directors. Alongside working on shows like Stick To Football and Fan Debate, alongside long-time broadcasting partner Jamie Carragher, Neville also plays a part in a short Sky Sports podcast when on Premier League duty.

In January, he also sold a majority stake in The Overlap to Global, which owns Classic FM, Capital and LBC, among others. Speaking about the deal at the time, Neville said: "The Overlap started as an idea that we thought people might like and we went for it.

HEREHEREHEREHERE.

"It’s a team that I love working with and I’m incredibly proud to be a part of. We never thought of it as a business, we just wanted to create something that people loved."

Neville is frequently joined by the likes of Carragher, Roy Keane, Ian Wright and Jill Scott on The Overlap, welcoming a wealth of high-profile guests over the years. Some of the recent names to appear on the show include Wayne Rooney, Ange Postecoglou, Ashley Cole, Rory McIlroy and Gareth Bale.

It comes as Neville, Keane and Carragher were in agreement over Manchester City's FA Cup quarter-final clash with Liverpool, which is slated to take place on Saturday, April 4 at the Etihad Stadium.

Arne Slot's side were handed a brutal 3-0 loss at the hands of Pep Guardiola's Sky Blues earlier this season and head into the clash as second favourites to break into the final four.

And Keane was quick to spark the conversation with regards to who will reign victorious in Greater Manchester later this week. He said: "Liverpool are so bad.

"You know, one of the worst performances I've seen this season was Liverpool at Nottingham Forest — I know I'm going back six or eight weeks. I said they were bad champions."

While Keane predicted a 2-1 win for City, Neville and Carragher went a step further by suggesting that the fixture plays out 3-1 to the Cityzens.

Manchester City head into the game in fine form, having already handed Arsenal a 2-0 loss in the Carabao Cup final last month thanks to a Nico O'Reilly brace.

Still in the race for the Premier League title, Guardiola will be eyeing a domestic treble of EPL, Carabao Cup and FA Cup titles ahead of this weekend's outing.

Manchester United, meanwhile, solely have the Premier League to worry about for the rest of the season – having failed to qualify for European football as a result of last season's 15th-place finish and being knocked out of both domestic cups by Grimsby and Brighton, respectively.

At the time of writing, the Reds sit third in the league standings, largely thanks to Michael Carrick breathing a new lease of life into the club since stepping up to the plate as interim head coach in January off the back of Ruben Amorim's sacking.

United also trail second-place City by just six points headed into their final seven games of the season. Up next for Carrick and the club is a return to Old Trafford to take on Leeds United on Monday, April 13.
