Leeds United face possible new short-notice midweek change to huge clash in survival bid as…

The Premier League have issued notice of a possible midweek Leeds United fixture change.

The Premier League have issued a notice about the plans for a huge Leeds United midweek fixture change in the event of Daniel Farke’s Whites making the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Farke’s men will take on relegation battle rivals West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday for a place in the FA Cup semi-finals staged at Wembley.

The FA Cup semi-finals will take place on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26 - over the weekend when Leeds are due to take in the long trip to Bournemouth for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, April 25.

But the Premier League have confirmed that those fixtures currently scheduled for Match week 34 (Friday 24 to Monday 27 April) are subject to change depending on clubs’ participation in the Emirates FA Cup semi‑finals which take place on the same weekend.

The Premier League say that any affected Premier League fixtures will be rescheduled to take place between Tuesday, April 21 and Thursday, April 23 and that fixture amendments will be confirmed early next week.

That means Leeds will face a midweek trip to Bournemouth in the event of reaching the FA Cup semi-finals - a game which would be sandwiched in between the Premier League hosting of Wolves and FA Cup semi-final.
