Crystal Palace are back in the market for a new manager after Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola snubbed a move to Selhurst Park, according to Sky Sports.
Oliver Glasner confirmed earlier in the season that he will be leaving the club in the summer, with his contract expiring later this year.
The Eagles are now on the lookout for a replacement, and although they wouldn't have wanted to lose Glasner, his departure being confirmed early on has allowed them plenty of time to find a new manager.
Glasner has enjoyed a phenomenal spell in charge of Palace, even though they've dropped off this season, delivering the FA Cup and Community Shield to Selhurst Park.
Finding a replacement who can reach similar levels won't be easy, so it's an important task for the board over the coming months.
Crystal Palace Dealt Manager Blow
Andoni Iraola applauds Bournemouth supporters
According to a report from Sky Sports, Crystal Palace are now moving on to other managerial targets, with Bournemouth boss Iraola snubbing a move to Selhurst Park ahead of the summer.
Iraola, praised as 'one of the best managers in world football', is believed to be one of Palace's prime candidates, but the Eagles believe that he's likely to stay at Bournemouth unless a big club arrives at the table.
The Cherries have offered him a new contract, which he has yet to sign, but Palace are going to find it difficult to convince him to make the move to the capital this summer.
It's certainly a blow for Palace, but as mentioned, they've had plenty of time to find a replacement, and Iraola won't be the only name on their shortlist to replace Glasner when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Palace Eyeing Former Tottenham Boss
Thomas Frank
According to reports, Crystal Palace also have former Tottenham manager Thomas Frank on their shortlist to replace Glasner.
Interestingly, it's claimed that the Eagles are set to face competition from Bournemouth, if Iraola heads through the exit door, and considering the size of the two clubs, they are likely to be in the market for similar managers this summer.
Frank undoubtedly failed during his time at Tottenham, but the work he did with Brentford will be a key reason behind Palace's interest in the manager.
The Danish boss did a superb job with the Bees, developing them into a stable Premier League club, punching above their weight at times.
