Alisson Becker has pledged to be back in goal for Liverpool and Brazil by the end of April. The Brazilian shot-stopper has not featured for Arne Slot's side since the 4-0 victory over Galatasaray in the Champions League.
Slot recently said he expected Alisson to be out until 'towards the end of the season' with the goalkeeper understood to have suffered a hamstring injury. However, Alisson has taken to social media to say he is confident he will feature again this season.
Instead, the ex-Roma goalkeeper said he is currently recovering from the problem he picked up in training at the start of March, which kept him out of the 2-1 away defeat to Brighton before the international break. He has even pledged to be back in time to fight in Liverpool's crucial final run of Premier League fixtures.

He tweeted: "I haven't suffered any new injuries. I'm currently undergoing treatment, and the plan is to be fully fit to play by the end of April!"
While he is confident he will play again for Liverpool this season, he will miss some crucial matches. He will be absent for this weekend's FA Cup quarter-final visit to Manchester City, both legs of the Champions League quarter-final tie with Paris Saint-Germain and Premier League matches against Fulham (home), Everton (away) and Crystal Palace (home).
It will also likely be a close call as to whether he will be able to face Manchester United at Old Trafford on May 3. With the Red Devils competing with Liverpool for a place in the top four, that clash is looking more important with every passing week.
After the match against United, Liverpool host Chelsea on May 9, travel to Aston Villa on May 17 and host Brentford on the final match of the Premier League campaign. Depending on how Liverpool fare against City in the FA Cup and PSG in the Champions League, there may be other huge clashes interspersed with those.
Slot will have to call upon Giorgi Mamardashvili in Alisson's absence. The Georgian has already deputised in Alisson's absence, making 13 appearances in all competitions.
However, when it came to some of Liverpool's other absences, Slot did have some good news. The Reds boss confirmed Salah is expected to be available for the FA Cup clash against City, after he missed the recent loss to Brighton.

The Dutchman said: "Yes he is [available], he trained with us yesterday, he will train with us today and is available for tomorrow.”
Slot also said £125m man Alexander Isak has returned to full training for the first time since he broke his leg in the away victory over Tottenham just before Christmas. The Reds boss added: "It'll be too soon to expect him in the starting lineup, it was first time training yesterday after 101 days out.
"It will take a bit of time to give him a lot of minutes, but we will make sure we do the right thing to build him up. It is a good thing to have him on the training ground, even better to get him on the pitch."
