Both played the managerial cat and mouse that wily head coaches often indulge in – rather than giving their opponent any clue as to the team or the set up they’re likely to put out, both managers hinted at top players being absent for the clash. Realistically it wouldn’t surprise me if both players start: Whether either manager will succeed in throwing their opposite number off the scent is highly debatable but we’ll see who is unveiled 1 hour ahead of kick off on Sunday.
