Crystal Palace have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, but Steve Parish has other alternative targets in mind.
The Eagles are in the market for a new manager ahead of the summer, with Oliver Glasner confirming that he will be leaving the club when his contract expires later this year.
Parish and his team have plenty of time to find a replacement for Glasner, and they will already be working on potential targets, with the Austrian manager informing the Eagles of his desire to leave earlier in the season.
Palace currently sit in 14th place in the Premier League table after a relatively disappointing campaign, especially in comparison to their achievements last term.
Palace lifted the FA Cup and the Community Shield in 2025, but they've struggled to replicate that this season.
Palace Must Appoint Thomas Frank
Thomas Frank
Crystal Palace need to make a move to appoint former Tottenham and Brentford manager Thomas Frank at the end of the season.
The Danish manager is now a free agent after being sacked by Spurs earlier in the campaign, but his spell in north London shouldn't tarnish his reputation.
Frank was, perhaps, not ready to make the step-up to a club the size of Tottenham, but Palace could be the ideal destination for him.
Frank, described as 'incredible', did a phenomenal job with Brentford during his time at the club, earning himself a move to Spurs, and according to reports, Palace are interested in appointing him in the summer.
It should be a relatively straightforward deal for the Eagles to complete, with Frank being available, and it feels like the perfect match for both parties.
Palace Dealt Iraola Blow

According to a report from Sky Sports, Crystal Palace have now moved on to other targets after Bournemouth manager Iraola snubbed a move to Selhurst Park.
Iraola will only leave Bournemouth if a 'big' club comes in for him, while his contract is also set to expire at the end of the season.
The Bournemouth manager may still remain with the Cherries heading into the new campaign, and it feels unlikely that he will be making the move to Palace this summer.
Parish and his team are now pursuing alternative avenues, and Frank should be one of the names high on their shortlist to replace Glasner.
