Jack Harrison has conceded his start to the season with Leeds United was “difficult” - but he still misses the Elland Road atmosphere.
After two seasons out on loan at Everton, the 29-year-old was reintegrated by Whites boss Daniel Farke last summer.
His early outings were prompted a chorus of boos, with sections of the fanbase having been angered by his unwillingess to drop into the Championship witn the club.
Harrison found opportunities limited in the first half of the 2025/26 campaign and although boos died down, frustration remained.

Jack Harrison’s Leeds United struggle
“It was a difficult start to the season,” he told FourFourTwo. “It was something that I hadn't faced before in my career for an extended period of time, just not playing.
“It’s very positive coming here. I’m getting more minutes and playing in the Conference League has been an incredible experience, travelling and playing, a small taste of what it would be like in the Champions League.”
Missing ‘special’ Elland Road
Harrison may be enjoying his fresh challenge but has admitted to missing the famous Elland Road atmosphere, something his Fiorentina teammate David de Gea has commented upon.
He said: “I miss the atmosphere of Elland Road. It's special. I speak to David de Gea, and he always says that going to Elland Road was incredible.
“A lot of people admire the environment there. They're very passionate fans. When you have that energy, and everything's going well around the stadium, it really does give you a boost.”

Jack Harrison’s future
Harrison is under contract in West Yorkshire until 2028 and it remains to be seen what the future holds for the former Manchester City and Middlesbrough man.
Reports have indicated his buy option clause may not be activated by Fiorentina but a return to prominence at Leeds does not appear particularly likely.
He said: “Coming out here has opened my mind to a lot more possibilities, just being open and adaptable to go anywhere and to find that happiness. That's a key thing for me.
“If I want to be playing at my best – which contributes a lot towards happiness as well – I have to be somewhere where it's the best thing for my happiness as well. Finding that place would be incredible. Wherever that is, I'm not quite sure, but I'm open to possibilities.”
