Arne Slot was taunted with brutal "sacked in the morning" chants from Manchester City supporters during Liverpool's 4-0 FA Cup quarter-final defeat. An Erling Haaland hat-trick and Antoine Semenyo goal sealed the win for Pep Guardiola's side with those alongside him in the stands enjoying a great afternoon.
Guardiola was not on the touchline for the clash as he was serving a ban but his influence was not required as City romped to victory. The four goals arrived across just 20 minutes with Liverpool falling apart all while Slot watched on.
The home supporters particularly enjoyed that goal-fest period as they started doing the Poznan before rather loudly chanting "you're getting sacked in the morning", in the direction of Slot.

More embarrassment arrived for Liverpool in the second half with Mohamed Salah seeing a penalty saved by James Trafford. The 33-year-old had four shots in the game with two of those wildly off target from close-range.
It was ultimately another poor display in front of goal from Liverpool's talisman with Ally McCoist issuing a brutal verdict.

Speaking on TNT Sports, he said: "I didn't fancy him [to score the penalty]. I didn't fancy him at all. It's a shame because he looks a shadow of the man that has lit up this league and lit up this country.
"It's a shame he's going out this way. He doesn't look like a confident man or a confident player at this moment in time."
The pressure on Arne Slot's job seems to have only increased since the start of March with Liverpool only winning two out of a possible seven games.
The Liverpool boss delivered a particularly brutal verdict after the game in which he bemoaned similar problems that have plagued his side throughout this campaign.

He told TNT Sport: "What has been missing for large parts of the season, converting our chances into goals. I think it was an even game up until they scored the penalty and the last time we played here we conceded just before half-time and again today.
"We get a penalty and we get a chance but that doesn't tell me anything. The first 35 minutes was the sort of team I would like to see but the 20 minutes after that, we have to defend so, so much better than we were doing today.
"Not nice to go in at 2-0 just before half-time, not helpful for your mood especially after the season we have had. That was really hard to take. The only good thing was that we didn't concede more."
