Everton set for Magic Weekend milestone at the Hill Dickinson Stadium
The Friedkins are keen to host an NFL fixture at Everton’s new stadium in the future, but for now the focus has been on rugby events.
According to rugby commentator Stuart Pyke, a new record has already been set, with almost 70,000 tickets being sold three months out from the event.

In July, the Magic Weekend will travel to Merseyside, where six games will be held across the Saturday and Sunday.
Everton have already hosted an England rugby match at their new home on the Liverpool docks.
The Magic Weekend smashed record ticket sales at Everton’s stadium after surpassing 10,000 sales in just a matter of days.
Having been previously hosted in Newcastle, among other cities, over the years, this will mark a big moment for the Toffees.

It is important that Everton’s new stadium makes a good first impression in July during the Magic Weekend.
The Hill Dickinson Stadium has generated huge new streams of revenue for Everton in less than a full year since it opened.
However, it is crucial that these opening events go well as the Blues could secure future bookings as a result of it.
Everton have made a strong start financially under the Friedkins, but they must continue to build on the work done.
It has even been suggested that the Hill Dickinson Stadium could host the Super League Grand Final instead of Old Trafford in the future.
