Jamie Carragher has named David Moyes in the running for Premier League Manager of the Season award.
Everton look like a team transformed following the 62-year-old’s return to Merseyside last January.
It has been a remarkable season for the Blues under Moyes, with plenty still to play for in the race for European qualification.

Everton are preparing a new contract for Moyes, with his current deal set to expire in just over a year’s time.

“Listen, I think if Arsenal win the league, I would say Mikel Arteta, just because it’s been so long and they’ve been up against Man City and Liverpool and it’s not been easy for them,” he said.
“I think Keith Andrews, he has done well. I think David Moyes, as well. They’re the two that should be put in the mix.”
Since returning to Merseyside, only Arsenal hold a better away record than Moyes at Everton.
Moyes and Everton one of this season’s surprise packages
Although fans may have been hoping for improvement under The Friedkin Group, not many would have expected a European push at this stage of the season.
Moyes targeted a European finish for Everton all the way back in the summer.
