The Albion midfielder withdrew from the England under-21s squad ahead of Euros qualifiers with Andorra and Moldova.
He trained with his club-mates at the Amex on Saturday and is expected to face Burnley at Turf Moor a week later on his 21st birthday.
Hinshelwood helped England under-21s win the Euros in the summer and is a key part of Lee Carsley’s squad.
That meant he was a surprise absentee when the side was named to face Andorra.
Carsley gave very little away but The Argus revealed the issue was minor.
Speaking after training at the Amex, Albion boss Hurzeler told The Argus: “He had a small issue with his knee and therefore we and the English national team, they don't want to risk anything.
“I think it was a very mature decision and there's nothing bigger, it’s just minor.
“We saw him today on the pitch training well, so he will be available for the next game.”
Solly March continued his return to full match fitness with 45 lively minutes for Albion under-21s against Everton going into the pause for international action.
Hurzeler said: "He's getting closer and closer. He's training really well.”
Adam Webster and Stefanos Tzimas remain some way from action due to serious knee injuries.
Albion are supporting the pair through their tough periods on a daily basis.
Hurzeler said: “Adam is doing rehab. He's doing it with a lot of energy. He always around the team.
“I like to have him around the team because he has a great energy. He is a great leader, although he's injured, and he's doing real well and for Stef, it's the same.
“He's around the team. He's doing well in rehab. They are training hard.
“I think doing rehab is one of the toughest moments you can have in your career because it seems that you are lonely, it seems that you are for yourself, but we always try to give them the feeling that we are with them, that we are going through the tough times together with them as a group.
“We try to make sure that they're around with the boys in the gym, doing their rehab, and so far we're very pleased how it's going.”
