Newcastle United transfers: Reports in Spain have linked the Magpies with a move for a Real Madrid starlet.

The Spain Under-19 international has been a regular in Real’s youth sides in recent seasons and his progress was rewarded with a senior debut when he played the entire 90 minutes of a Copa del Rey win against minnows Minera in January last year.

A La Liga debut followed last month when Aguado came off the bench to replace former Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger during the second half of a 4-1 home win against Elche - but there is still speculation suggesting he could be moved on from Real during the summer despite being considered as a bright prospect at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Spanish outlet AS has suggested the 19-year-old is one of several young players that could be moved on from the La Liga giants this summer and has stated AC Milan, Parma and Newcastle have Aguado ‘on their agenda’ for the summer transfer window after Borussia Dortmund were unsuccessful with a £5m offer last year.

The report states ‘all options are open’ for Aguado’s future and suggests the end of the current season could mark the next phase in his career.

Newcastle dipped into the Spanish market last summer with the free transfer of Antonio Cordero, who is a Spain Under-19 teammate of Aguado. Cordero is currently out on loan at Cadiz in the Spanish second tier following an unsuccessful half season loan at Westerlo in Belgium.
