Gabriel Gudmundsson has been left out of the Leeds United squad that takes on West Ham United in today's FA Cup quarter-final tie.

The reason for the absence of the defender - who missed the goalless draw with Brentford through suspension - is due to a minor groin problem, which has not been painted as serious.

As a result, James Justin starts at left-wing back with Jayden Bogle on the right with Pascal Struijk, Jaka Bijol and Jor Rodon - looking to put his Wales World Cup play-off disappointment behind him - begin in the centre of defence.

Daniel Farke had said he would not risk any player who was an injury doubt this afternoon and Anton Stach had returned back from Germany duty with a hip issue. However, he had returned to training by Thursday and he starts today, with Farke evidently not deeming him a serious fitness gamble.

The rest of the midfield sees Ampadu, who skippered Wales this international break, start alongside Ao Tanaka.

Up top, as expected, Dominic Calvert-Lewin does not make the cut having missed training on Thursday with a hamstring complaint. His issue is not thought to be major but Farke is playing it safe, with the striker on the bench.

As a result, Lukas Nmecha is given the nod up top with Noah Okafor joining him in attack.

Lucas Perri comes in as the cup goalkeeper, the summer signing now second choice. He was the penalty shoot-out hero at Brimingham City in round four before keeping a clean sheet against Norwich City in the last round.
