Yaya Toure says Ibrahim Sangare reminds him of himself

Toure was recently asked which current midfielders remind him of how he used to play.

“Whilst he didn’t directly name Ibrahim Sangare, it’s more than likely that’s who he was referring to, given his style of play, previous comparisons and of course the fact they’re compatriots.

“I’ve been lucky enough to get invited by top clubs. For example, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Chelsea because I’ve been going around watching some games,” the former Man City and Barcelona star said.

“Of course, most of time I focus on the midfielders. There have been some interesting players I’ve been seeing.

“For example, the one at Nottingham Forest. I forget the name.

“But Semenyo as well with Bournemouth they have a lot of them you know, they have quite have a lot of things of me.”

Sangare has really stepped up a level this season, and he’s actually being linked with a move to Manchester United.

It’s been reported that Man United are eyeing a £43m deal for Sangare, but surely that level of bid will be rejected outright.
