Some new updates have arrived on the eve of AC Milan’s big game against Napoli regarding how the starting line-up should look.
Milan are playing to potentially keep their slim title hopes alive at the Maradona on Easter Monday. Inter host Roma at San Siro tonight looking to move nine points clear for the time being, while Napoli are one point behind in third, so naturally it feels like a very significant weekend.
Pulisic and Leao out?
In terms of absences, the good news is that only Matteo Gabbia will be out injured. However, in the build-up to the game there have been doubts about the conditions of Rafael Leao and also Christian Pulisic, the forward duo that have battled physical issues all season.
According to Sky, Allegri is currently expected to go with Christopher Nkunku and Niclas Füllkrug as the front two, thus meaning the Portuguese and the American would start from the bench.
The rest of the team should remain as standard: Alexis Saelemaekers and Davide Bartesaghi as the wing-backs either side of Youssouf Fofana, Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot in midfield, with Fikayo Tomori, Koni De Winter and Strahinja Pavlovic the defence ahead of Mike Maignan.
**Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2):**Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Füllkrug, Nkunku.
