Sitting 10 points adrift of safety, it’s looking increasingly likely the Clarets will be lining up back in the Championship next term.

Does that mean there will be another major turnover of players, as we’ve seen on the past two occasions? Or will Scott Parker want to keep the core of his side together?

Burnley are quite fortunate in a way in that they don’t have a large number of players out of contract at the end of the season.

In fact, they only have seven, and only two or three of these would be considered first-team regulars, while another is a loan that is already due to be made permanent.

But we’re getting to the stage of the year where decisions will be made on whether to offer new deals to those players whose contracts are expiring.
