Gomes quartet delight young Wolves fans at Drayton Manor event

More than 350 young supporters enjoyed a night to remember as Wolves stars João Gomes, Rodrigo Gomes, Toti Gomes and Ángel Gomes headlined a special “Meet the Gomeses” event at Drayton Manor Resort.

Held during a break in the Premier League schedule, the exclusive Young Wolves evening on Monday, March 30 gave fans the chance to meet the quartet up close, take part in a live Q&A session and enjoy the park’s rides after hours.

The players embraced the occasion, taking time to speak with supporters, pose for photos and even ride on some of the theme park’s most popular rollercoasters.

The four “Gomes” quickly became the centre of attention as they joined fans on some of the park’s most popular attractions. João Gomes, known for his tireless energy on the field, showed no signs of slowing down as he enjoyed a front-row seat alongside captain Toti on the ‘Gold Rush’ ride.

Toti said: “It was a nice activity with us four Gomeses – it was good to spend some time with them. It's very important to have a good connection, not only with the younger supporters, but with every fan.

“It’s important to have that bond with them, this was another way for them to show their support for us, especially when we have more games coming up.”

Rodrigo Gomes added: “It was lovely to meet some young fans, the connection between them and us players is great, they give us a lot of support, and it was a moment to say thank you to them.

“Our season hasn't been great, we know how tough it's been, but moments like this are so important. It’s important to keep the connection between us players and the fans, especially the young fans, so it’s a great time to give back.”
