Vinicius Jr has been linked with a sensational move from Real Madrid to the Premier League.
Man United will go into the summer feeling very positive about their situation. The Red Devils are expected to offer Michael Carrick the permanent job at Old Trafford, and United plan to invest in his squad over the summer.
One name who could come to the Premier League is Vinicius Jr at Real Madrid. His future is reportedly uncertain...
Man Utd and Man City ‘contacted’ about Vinicius Jr
The Brazilian winger is undoubtedly one of the best attackers in world football, and the Real Madrid star would no doubt shake up the transfer market if he were to leave the Bernabeu in the summer.
According to a report by TeamTalk, Vinicius Jr is weighing up his options of a potential move, and several Premier League clubs have been contacted about a summer deal. The report says that both Man United and Man City have been contacted by the players’ intermediaries and they could potentially look to make a move for him in the summer.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are also understood to be involved in the rumours, sparking a potential transfer battle for the Real Madrid star in the summer window.
He has an estimated market value of over £130m, but costs even more as Real Madrid will be reluctant to sell one of the world’s best. He has made 44 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish giants this season, scoring 17 goals and providing 13 assists.
Vinicius Jr could replace Silva
Seeing as Bernardo Silva is leaving Man City, it could be the perfect time for Vinicius Jr to become available, as City will want a new talisman who they can rely on and build around for the next few years.
Vinicius Jr doesn’t only have success in La Liga, but he is also experienced in winning the Champions League, something that Man City want to do more and more as they move into the post-Guardiola era.
