Liverpool fans confirm ticket protest plans

**Liverpool fan groups are set to protest against the club’s recent ticket price rises.**

It was confirmed last month that owners Fenway Sports Group will incrementally [increase the cost of attending matches at Anfield for the next three seasons](https://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/liverpool-fc/64495-liverpool-face-fan-backlash-on-ticket-rises/).

A 3% mark-up has already been set for the 2026/27 campaign, which the Reds claim is in line with the current rate of inflation, has already been met with backlash.

A coalition of supporter groups have now confirmed that they will take direct action against the plans beginning with Saturday’s Premier League encounter with Fulham.

Fan groups Spirit of Shankly, Spion Kop 1906, the Liverpool FC Supporters’ Board, LFC Women’s Supporters’ Club and cultuRED have all signed the pledge to protest.

“The Supporters’ Board has formally informed the club that action is coming. Now it is on all of us to back it,” read a statement.

“Protests inside and outside Anfield have been discussed. It is agreed: They need to happen. This will not be limited to one game.

“Action will take place acros shome and away fixtures, starting with Fulham and escalating from there.”

It added: “Let’s be clear: This is Liverpool’s owners locking in prices rises for years and removing annual scrutiny from fans.

“No other Premier League club is doing this. If it goes unchallenged, it sets a precedent. Not just for Liverpool, but across the game.”
